Exciting opportunity to join a join a fantastic company as a Production Operator, working in the factory. You will be stacking pallets, using the forklift (counterbalance) and operating milling machinery in the factory.
Work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, as well as a current forklift license. However, training can be provided for the right candidate.
The shift is on a rotating roster, 12 hour shifts across days and nights. Must be available to work 10am to 10pm or 10pm to 10am on a rotating basis, typically 4 shifts a week, so 48 hours per week.
You will be on day shifts one week, and night shifts the next.
Starting rate is $28/per hour + 8% holiday pay. Overtime is paid at time and a half.
This is a temporary position to be hired permanently after 3 months so reliability is key.
About you:
- Must be available to work on a rotating roster (can work days and nights)
- Able to lift 25kg comfortably
- Health and safety conscious
- Own reliable transport to get to work
